When Hutch stated that there is no one thing that causes an accident, or words to that effect, I perked up and thought ' This will be good ' and it was.

Wasn't there a docudrama doing the rounds some time back that stated that the whole thing was caused by the aircraft running over the metal item dropped from an earlier departing DC 10 cowling? Personally I couldn't buy that.

Falcon, the metal on the runway was almost insignificant. Watch Hutch (who knows of what he speaks) tell you the real reasons, then have a think about how good the French are at cover-ups.
