Chipmunk in the Pays Basque

I saw this report on a local TV station earlier that features a Chipmunk (WP967) being serviced (& flown) at Aéro Méchanic's (their spelling!), Biarritz. They share a hangar with the Aéroclub Basque (current president is Alain Dupont, a former FAF Jaguar pilot and rugby aficionado).

Flying sequence starts at 3:40..

Ah, the dear old Chipmunk. Cartridge start back then, fortunately although the service demanded we did a few the hard way which I never much enjoyed due to a high concern for personal safety. The Bardic torches were essential when night flying as the designers cunningly placed the fuel gauges in the wings. Who says the Canadian designers didn't have a sense of humour?

There is one at La Rochelle too.
