Portinscale, Keswick. 10.00. 4/916 A Lancaster at 1200' or so, under the 8/8 cloudbase, heading up Bassenthwaite doing a good impression of a Hercules. I must tell someone!

Nice to see she's back in the air.
Some nice pictures in the press today.

She was grounded in the BBMF hangar with engine woes when I visited a few weeks back.
In fact, she wasn't the only one in the hangar grounded with engine problems!

Due at Southport Saturday and Sunday..... hoping it flies over our house again!

Didn't appear at Ayr on Saturday - still recovering from engine fix?

Was the wind high/gusty? BBMF didn't make Blackpool one day due to winds being too high (20kts plus gusts and onshore, too).
