Journal of Aeronautical History completes its 5th year

All still free, all peer reviewed, all there for anybody who needs some free reading matter over Christmas.

I imagine a few people here could perhaps contribute in 2016 as well? I've had the privilege of publishing in it, and can certainly verify that the refereeing is comparable in rigour to more technical journals - I'm just thinking about another paper for it at the moment, although whether I'll have that written within the year is more questionable.

I'd particularly from 2015 recommend Peter Davison's paper on the R101, which contains a lot of original source material that I'd never seen elsewhere. It is rather long, but worth the effort.

Just thought I'd mention it.

... and amongst others, I'd very much recommend the late Harry Frazer-Mitchell's account of the development of the Hawk (2013/01). Also anything by John Ackroyd, but then he was one of my undergrad lecturers!
