RAF Vintage Pair Information Sought
 

Hello,

My first foray into the forum after been a reader for many years.

I am looking for help with some artwork I am producing.

I'm doing some detail profiles featuring the Meteors and Vampire of the RAF Vintage Pair. I've managed to find plenty of general photographs of the aircraft from over the years so more than sorted on that basis but I am struggling with more detailed images/information

In the days where they had the overall grey with yellow training bands livery either side of the cockpits had rectangular black bars featuring names. Has anyone details or perhaps photographs of the names contained within these black rectangles ?

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

There is quite a lot of detail regarding the Vintage Pair in the book "RAF Little Rissington - The Central Flying School Years 1946/1976" pages 241 and 242. If you don't have access to this tome, then please PM me and I will scan the pages to pdf and email back to you.
