Re. ACM Sir John Nelson Boothman His obituary here: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...psoowarpx0.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...ps8vetfrqo.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...psqbgjbvlq.jpg Rather odd that his place of burial can't be found, but recently his medals were sold for £17,000 with the proceeds going to the RAF Benevolent Fund. Details here: Lot 1177, Orders, Decorations, Medals and Militaria (25 - 26 March 2013) | Dix Noonan Webb |
David D'Arcy Greig
Probably in Bexhill as he was living there when he died, see below. http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r...pscl3hneg5.jpg |
Samuel Kinkead's final resting place is Fawley Parish Church. See the pic as per the link, posted by Planemike.
I visited a few years back, fresh flowers on the grave, someone still cared it seems. |
There is a memorial window to John Boothman over the entrance doors to Harrow High School, formerly Harrow County Boys School, in Gayton Road Harrow.
