1919 Trans Atlantic Vimy Navigation kit

I am researching Alcock and Brown's non stop Atlantic crossing in June 1919.
Brown wrote that he used a "drift bearing plate" to assess drift angle. This instrument was the precursor of periscopic drift sights which were in common use until Doppler drift and ground speed sensors arrived.
Has anyone an idea where I can get a description and/or photo of Brown's "Drift Bearing Plate"?
Thanks for any info.

don't know where you would find browns actual plate but google "navigators drift bearing plate".
in among all the entries is a british museum photo of an RAF one from the year before. ( 1918)

This is from a little later... but similar I believe to the one they used.
