Can anyone recommend a company that makes high quality models with liveries from the 70's?

If money is no object, you might try Doxaerie Models. They are more oriented toward historical models but will do requests.

This is a Wessex HAS Mk1 that Nice Airplanes made for me. Fuselage length about 15 inches in old money. Nothing was too much trouble for them - I was quite specific in how I wanted the model fitted out......

Agreed. I went to the factory in Philippines and had some presentation models made. Excellent quality.

This is advertising and I will leave them for a day or two. No more please.
