Flying a DC-3

I have always dreamt of flying a DC-3. In fact I've always dreamt of just being in one.
Anyway, others who share those feelings may want to take a look at http://www.vintageflight.com/

If I get down there to take one up, I shall post a full report with pictures (don't hold your breath though...)

Hey thats a great opportunity if you have the cash. I hope you get to do it mate!

For a 1943 Dakota it sure looks to be in fine condition. It has a weird nose compared to the traditional DC-3/C-47 (the NZ Warbirds have one here, check it out on http://www.nzwarbirds.org.nz/ ).

Is it equipped with a radar of some sort or was that from a previous modification? There was no mention of a radar in the equipment list.
