Narborough aerodrome

Does anyone know anything about the history of this airfield, or any stories related to it? It is not mentioned in my copy of the East Anglian volume of Action Stations. The airfield was a mile or so SW of the village on the road to Marham.

I visited the church there to see graves of one part of my family, the Holmans. Strangely the only relative I have who to my knowledge joined the RFC is connected to Narborough - his father lived there but moved out of the area before he was born. (Robt Holman of OGW (whatever that is) 5, 68 and 67 sqns, if anyone knows anything about him).

I wonder if he was inspired to join by visiting relatives in the village. The graveyard has a touching memorial to those killed in training there. There are also 12-15 individual graves.
