Thanks Asturias,

Recently I passed Namur on the highway.
The airport was mentioned on the signs from various directions.
I therefore got the impression that it was larger than it now shows to be.
The Belgian Mirage has been sold to a Polish open air Aircraft museum.

Now this:

hmm, very boggy .

That's an old F-28/BAC11/DC-9 hulk on the extreme right - looks like a fire fighting hulk.

Is that a lake or the see? It looks terribly Scandinavian - it's soooooo neat

Self loading bear 16th Dec 2019 16:23

That a sea but not Scandinavian

sycamore 16th Dec 2019 16:41

Baltic Sea....?

Self loading bear 16th Dec 2019 18:55

Not Baltic either
You are not getting much closer.
I am searching the type of the practise hulk.
Standby for that.

sycamore 16th Dec 2019 19:06

east coast Canada...?

Self loading bear 16th Dec 2019 19:27

Even further off-course
Cannot find confirmation on the training aircraft.
next clue:

The ship is from Luxembourg

Flap40 16th Dec 2019 21:06

I think that might be Brisbane.

mgahan 17th Dec 2019 00:24

And I think you are correct. THold 32 a couple of years back.

So now I have waited for other time zones to react, I think there is little use to wait till 24 hours have past.
Flap40 has control with Brisbane.

The dredger provided the sand for the new parallel runway.
The Belgian dredging company registers its ships in Luxembourg for fiscal reasons.
No way this Dredger Charles Darwin could reach Its Homeport.

Flap40 17th Dec 2019 09:29

Cheers. The shadows versus the runway direction pointed to the southern hemisphere and a google of rwy32 Australia came up with Brisbane as the first choice.

Try this one.

oxenos 18th Dec 2019 13:13

Asturias56 18th Dec 2019 15:43

Is it in Europe?

oxenos 18th Dec 2019 17:30

It is........

JENKINS 18th Dec 2019 20:00

But missing a few marbles perhaps?

oxenos 18th Dec 2019 20:35

Are you thinking Parthenon? I don't think there is an airport there.

JENKINS 19th Dec 2019 07:40

No, just perhaps digging into the mind of Philhellene.

oxenos 19th Dec 2019 08:00

Digging? Mind? Marbles? Philhellene?
There is a marble mine on Paros, but that is not Paros airport.
You are barking up the wrong tree.
Or down the wrong hole.
