Asturias56 9th Feb 2019 17:21

Can you check my edit above please.

Sofala is now the Province name - old Sofala Town was replaced by Beira more or less I think

This is not Sofala or Beira but it is in Mozambique - i'm out for two hours...

nvubu 9th Feb 2019 18:09

Bit further north of Beira at Quelimane

Asturias56 9th Feb 2019 19:43

Back from dinner

Nvubu has it! Quelimane (again many spellings ) it is

Dr Livingstone visited here as well - the locals speak Portuguese and Swahili as well as their local languages

Not much happens here............................... but it's not a bad spot ... been in a lot worse - especially in Africa

I'm out all day tomorrow, so I'm going to have to throw the floor open with an Open House.

This may provide weekend entertainment. Southern Hemisphere. Loads of clues.

sycamore 9th Feb 2019 21:01

Wot a lotta Twottas....!

Your continent ,broadreach...?

broadreach 9th Feb 2019 21:41

sycamore's described the aircraft and the continent, now go find the other clue (s?). ;-)

Asturias56 10th Feb 2019 09:30

looks like a KingAir right center - presumably close to the coast or a major river

broadreach 10th Feb 2019 09:33

You may be right about the coast or river, Asturias, but what leads you to that conclusion?

dook 10th Feb 2019 09:47

Suriname ?

broadreach 10th Feb 2019 09:50

Not Suriname, dook

dook 10th Feb 2019 09:52

But South America ?

broadreach 10th Feb 2019 09:59

Yes, South America

has as swampy feel to it - mosquito-ish, small ponds, little feeder channel to bottom left....... could be anywhere in S America

broadreach 10th Feb 2019 10:13

Getting closer, Asturias. Swampy, lots of mosquitos, and there's something about that feeder channel and the concrete structure that almost reaches it. There's only one place in South America where you'll find such a collection of Twotters and, if you look closely, there are stands for a lot more than appear in the photo.
