Shiny VP- DC-8 at Changi

Landing at Changi about an hour ago, we taxied past an immaculate "short" DC-8 with a VP prefix. A big surprise. No name on the fuselage, but a nice white paint job with a blue "swoopy" cheatline. A mirror finish on the cowlings. Does anyone know anything about this?

ab33t,

That's the one. Just beautiful to look at. One of my favourite airliners, after the L1011 (411A please take note). My first commercial jet flight was in an Air Canada DC8.
