Fairey Swordfish Mk.II LS326
Following extensive work to her wings, the Royal Navy Historic Flight Fairey Swordfish Mk.II LS326 flew this afternoon at RNAS Yeovilton for the first time in 9 years. Well done RNHF, it was great to see her airborne again. :D
Hopefully she will soon be back on the display circuit, starting with RNAS Yeovilon Air Day this Saturday, 5 July 2008. |
Good news, thanks for posting.

Thank you very much for that. And a very big WELL DONE to the ground staff. |
On t'other side of Yeovilton, car alarms were set of to the Typhoon display- I popped outside to get something (Still can't remember it!) saw the Typhoon and forgot:confused::confused:

Don't let John Beattie get his hands on it. Just joking John. Tee hee.

Flew twice today, certainly looks good back in the air.

Saw Fairey Swordfish Mk.II LS326 display at Shawbury this afternoon.
Went to see the Vulcan (which had to cancel) but was very taken by the performance of this venerable old lady. Thanks to all concerned, very nice display. H |
