Hello Carson1934 -- how is it in Arezzo? FYI, I can easily see both your relatively small images. Off the top of my head, it looks like an I.M.A.M. design without the NACA cowling.

In Arezzo everything almost OK but can't really complain!
I can't help being flummoxed by the fact that out of two images I can't see one and you can see both!. I discovered that my PC works well with imageshack and has a disgust for photobucket.

Yes Noyade spot on!
It is the Anderlik Varga AVIS I a hungarian biplane of 1933 powered by a Bristol Jupiter VI which drove him to a maximum speed of 280/kmh.
Only one prototype was built because, being underpowered, the FIAT CR/32 was ordered in lieu thereof.

Carson1934, congratulations to you on the intriguing challenge and to Noyade to have solved it.
Regarding the image host, did you ever consider "www.tinypic.com"? It works always good for me, in more than 99% of the cases.
Then again, I have my own web-space (and web-site) as a simple alternative.
On the just past challenge: it is unbelievable, I had that three sides view of the Hungarian biplane Aircraft right under my nose, this notwithstanding I didn't recognise it :uhoh:

Concerning image hosting I think that finally "imageshack" works OK for me (whilst "Photobucket" is a catastrophe, donìt ask me why) however I will try for sure the web site you kindly gave me.

Sorry irishair2001, but not the Potez 840 and not French. This was an American project (but never flew) from the early eighties.

Not french was said to offer genuine STOL performance without the customary inflation of operating costs. First flew late 1960s.

Looks like a cross between the Haker Siddely/Avro146 and Shorts 360...with a bit of Blackburn thrown in.....:confused:

However it was not British.

Hello, new member here with my first post. As I understand it I can guess and then, if correct, post a silhouette of my own. Is that right?

Only I reckon the previous one looks very close to the US Sunrise S-1600 of 1969?

However your understanding is correct whoever identifies the aircraft first posts the next challenge.

The Sunrise S-1600 was an American STOL short-haul transport aircraft first flown in 1968. The Sunrise S-1600 was produced in three models: the Sunrise S-1600P carried 24 passengers; the Sunrise S-1600C was a cargo transport version and the Sunrise S-1600S was a high-density commuter transport version with accommodation for 30 passengers. The Sunrise S-1600 was a high-wing cantilever monoplane powered by two AiResearch TPE-331 or Pratt and Whitney PT-6 turboprop engines providing a top speed of 531 kmh and a range of 1205 km fully laden.

Unfortunately I do not have a photograph of the aircraft.
