Lancaster and Spit over Surrey

BBMF Lancaster and Spitfire have just done two very low flypasts over my house in Englefield Green in Surrey.Don't know what I did to deserve it.
Seriously though must have been a ceremony on at the Commonwealth Air Forces Memorial down the road. Must have been hard to arrange it as we are so close to Heathrow.

PS Mrs D said she didn't want that noise over the house, I replied that five Merlins can fly over my house as often and as low as they like.

We are on the extended center line of LHR 09R in Old Windsor.

I heared them as they headed south over Datchet, dashed outside and called the kids to see!

ATC seem to have a sense of humour too, the next aircraft to land (09L today) was a Lufthansa commuter jet. tee hee! :E
