Does anyone recognise these tailfeathers??
Around about 1940, seaplane base in Western Canada, biplane, tubing & fabric and a few of me ancestors going bush for a meeting.
Any theories on the A/C type.... http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i...TriptoBush.jpg |
bluenose,
It's also a bi-plane. That and the short rear fuselage leads me to suggest a cabin Waco of some type. C2j |

I would go along with Cubs2jets and Tiger_mate. A WACO, this one is a YKS-6

WACO, Beauty!
Thanks heaps, team. This one was gone before I started pumping avgas into Beavers at this dock. Never worked out where he took my Granny & Gt Granny. Cheers, BN :ok: |
