East Kirkby Lancaster on Google Earth.

If you have a look at Blackpool Airport, you will see the Red Arrows parked on a disused runway.

T M,
I had a look at Blackpool, and can't see the "Reds". Any idea what time they took off? :) |
I guess that must be a wargh then:rolleyes:
http://www.artistic.flyer.co.uk/arrows.jpg ......because they are still on the ground. |
Nope, just checked again, not on mine. I've been robbed!

mmmmmmmmm, I only downloaded the image above in response to your post. 'tis a strange thing the web at times, but I cannot explain that one unless you have an old image in your PC cache. (or I have used the wrong aerodrome)
Try 'Tools > Internet Options > Delete Files (& tick the box) and then revisit google earth and see if they appear. The airfield I used is south of Blackpool town by not very far, and I am fairly certain that it is Squires Gate rather then Warton. [Edit] I have just downloaded Google Earth onto my new PC and the Arrows are halfway along runway 05/25 |
TM,
I have had another look just now, and they have appeared! I am totally at a loss as to how this has happened, maybe something like the refresh rate or somesuch, but they were definitely not on the image I viewed yesterday. |
