PS

Its doing my head in; What aircraft is that??

Phileas Fogg 8th Jan 2008 20:58

The aircraft has to be British ..... the rivets are sticking out :)

Fishtailed 8th Jan 2008 21:16

Woodvale it is Tiger Mate, and Phil is right aswell, in one respect, Blackburn Buccaneer.

Russell Gulch 8th Jan 2008 22:31

Crikey, you guys are good. I struggled to see the airfield, let alone identify it!

I did have a ride in a Buccaneer in my CCF youth, yonks ago. What's the hole for?

Fishtailed 9th Jan 2008 12:34

Is it Cortez, Colorado?

ScrewedbyGlenn 9th Jan 2008 20:02

Believe it to be the Boulder, Colorado (International) municipal airiport. Where I learned to fly. More than one airplane ended up a bit short of Heyden lake just off the end of runway 26. Sorry, nothing to post if I'm right.

Great thread!

seacue 9th Jan 2008 20:46

Pardon the delay. I've been away from the PC all day.

S B Glenn has it 100% correct, Boulder, Colorado, KBDU (I think).

I think the floor has been declared OPEN.
