BOAC london to Singapore 1952 whats this airport

Mom gave me the old passport I had as a kid in jun 1952 (I looked younger then).
it has us stopping- based on the passport stamp- in republique libanaise , with beyrouth, le (obscured) at the bottom
where is that?
there is also an arabic stamp- wonder where that was?
Passport also has a quaint note that "aliens who intend to remain in Singapore more than 14 days must take 6 copies of their photo to the aliens registration office immediately.

I have a BOAC timetable for May 1952 which shows BA704 had a nightstop at Beirut enroute to Singapore.
This was a Constellation service.Other stops were Zurich,Karachi and Calcutta.

Arabic?

where is the Arabic square stamp coming from with lots of Arabic looking characters and some initials?
Any idea?

Quite a few services of that era also used to stop at Baghdad. They weren't as tied into the fewest stops possible operations in those days, using the routes as a milk round operation which wasn't tied to the range of the aircraft.

It could be somewhere such as Baghdad or Tehran.

or Bahrain.
