What type is this sea biplane?
 
A biplane with IJN mark. Friederichshafen FF-50J serviced in IJN or Yokosho Ro-Go Ko-Gata H ? Who can identify it? Help!

It certainly looks very much like the latter but not the early Salmson engined variant - probably the Hispano Suiza 200HP engine. I don't have a shot of the FF50 so I can't rule this out.

I'll have a look tomorrow in my old copy of the Harleyford book 'Maritime Aircraft of the First World War'. I think I may be able to identify it from that.

Yokosho Ro-Go Ko-Gata H. If you look here, the added fillet in front of the tailplane of the Hispano version, with the resultant double curvature as seen in both photos, would seem definitive.
