The thread about HZ-123 reminded me of the 707 used in that Southend cocaine incident. What happened to the 707? Was it broken up?

It spent some while at SEN, probably a year or two, but I believe it then moved on.

I'll try and confirm.

Koda Air

to depart UK after detention at Southend Airport
operation delayed from August, see below

As "Unwell" states it went off to Koda Air in a nice new livery.

Not a happy ending though ! A fire started in some cargo, whilst on the ground at Istanbul-Sabiha Gokcen Airport.

Do you think they were guilty Mike?

There is a website which brings some doubt over the case http://www.sclomax.co.uk/petercarine.htm personally i really dont know, but the whole case and story makes a great read!
