Currie Wot G-APNT
A recent article in Aeroplane Monthly covered this and another Wot, but didn't go into much detail on 'NT after the early 60s, subsequent to its ownership by Harald Penrose. Now I have a photo of it at a Sunderland Air Day display in 1966 (I don't have a working scanner - sorry chaps!) and I'm sure it was in the hangar there when I was taking lessons in '81. At this time I believe it was owned by ex-Lanc pilot Les (Meadows, possibly?). Does anyone know anything which can confirm and enlarge upon this?

G-APNT was based at Sunderland for a number of years, owned by Les Richardson. I am sure that someone can provide more details. Best wishes KZ8 |

Looks as though it has almost come home to its place of birth. Watched it being built forty eight years ago at Eastleigh.
