The LHR example sitting by rwy23 is a permanent exhibit until the "final" position over at T5 is ready. Dont get any ideas, its bolted down!

The other is being dismantled in a hanger ready for transport by road & sea upto East Fortune (Scotland) later in the year.

Re the German Museum, Looking around I saw some more recent ones on planepictures.net showing both AF and Concordski standing in postion on plinths with gears down etc.

Very sad.

Unfortunately AB won't be 'in' T5. They forgot to stress the floor to take the pedastel, so, believe it or not, it will be outside.

I can quite believe that it will be outside - BAA wouldn't want to lose the retail space, but as they haven't built the floor yet, I can't quite take you seriously.
