From the Danish film archives, I copied 5 minutes of compiled of bits and pieces from 1924 to just after WW2 flying with some relation to Greenland.

Does anyone recognize this Grumman Duck look-alike?

Yes, USCG Curtiss 71F (SOC-4) Seagull.
