HP Halton

My aunt and a cousin were pax on a Halton ,UK to Kenya 1948,Alpha Airways (pty) Ltd. Skytaxi Jo’burg had bought 5 which Alpha were to operate. One crashed in Spain. Anybody know anything more about them ? Thanks

Here's the Spanish prang if you haven't seen it...

They also had G-AGZP/ZS-BTA, which returned to Biovingdon and was scrapped there. Can't see any other mentions.
