Bristol Type 26 Pullman Triplane (Early 1920s) Photo Bristol Aeroplane Company
Can't name the boat but I think it was the one where the SAS hid almost under water for several days whilst watching the enemy and passing details to the commanders.
You will find it in Bristol - Tourist Attraction.....

It's not in the UK or the USA, nor anywhere else in the Anglosphere I'm afraid.
Give you another clue: that was a British Airways A319 I was peering out the window of.

A very fine city as well. I visited as it was the nearest entry point for my visit to Heligoland and Sylt (see my last challenge) but I was so impressed with the place. It's managed to move with the times while still keeping its industrial core, as well as its industrial 'feel'. Couldn't help thinking as I was walking around the place, and taking the Heligoland ferry down the Elbe, that it's basically what Newcastle thinks it is.
Anyway, enough waffling - all yours
