tonytales: all the large fan engines will go into freighter aircraft via the nose or side cargo doors.

It wouldn't have been disabled (the pickups will still be there), but in common with passenger 747s, the capability is rarely used nowadays because the likes of an An-124 can be used to ship an engine much more simply.

Original plan was to use the ex Farnborough Beverley which sat unused/unloved at Luton for several years because the instigators of the plan went bust.
Now that same Beverley is being evicted from Fort Paull (having been flown to Paull airfield initially) and will probably be scrapped.
