Oh! I've won one I'm usually in awe of the knowledge of everyone on here
Anyway, this one will probably last 5 minutes...
and apologies if it's already been 'done'...

Indeed, Noyade is correct: Beags was playing with you...It's a Quaintance Spratt 108...
Constructed mainly of Polyurethane foam and fibreglass, it had folding wings and a tow hitch so it could be towed by a car. The original engine was a 60hp Mercury outboard engine(!) but was replaced with a Subaru car engine...
It was controlled using Mr. Spratts 'Controlwing' system
Anyway...over to Noyade for the next teaser...and I'll retire into the shadows and continue lurking for another 10 years until another one pops up that I know

Be of good cheer! I started out knowing nothing - now I know a little bit less than nothing
But your brain will remember some of the odder suggestions and you'll gradually aspire towards the Nirvana of the Masters like noyade & Bear

Cheers 621andy. Mr BEagle was certainly in the know before me -so control should go to him.
But if he's not interested - don't wait another 10 years - post another one now.
Failing that - open house.
(Interestingly, Jane's/Aerofiles calls it the Model 105, but that museum calls it the Model 108?)
