Dak out of Nice

While reposing on the beach in Antibes, heard the familiar sound of a pair of radials. Looked up to see a (apparently) metallic Dak, climbing out of Nice, 22L and heading SW.

Did not appear to be in any shade of military colour, is the FAF flying any?

Probably one of the aircraft that came across for Daks Over Normandy doing a bit of site-seeing.

About what time, see if we can find it on FR24...

I looked at FR24, everything else was painting but not this aircraft.

Time would have been roughly 11.00 AM

No nothing on Planefinder either. Not enough enthusiasts in southern France! I gather from Flypast that N18121 is in France still - the high-time former N136PB which appears to be silver, so a possibility. The other one mentioned seems to have flown from Germany to Duxford yesterday.

Speculating ......Chalair's F-AZOX is predominently silver/ unpolished metal, so it may be an option too
