Post Airport 80 - Concorde - useless fact:

Interesting fact:

Sitting in with a mate last Saturday night, decided to watch said film before Event Horizon came on.

On noticing that they had actually used the real aircraft for a number of shots, we pondered the thought....'Was this the one that crashed two summer's ago...?'.

After noting the reg F-BTSC, wacked it onto airliners.net, sure enough it was the one......

Thanks for that 5150, I have been worrying about that since the accident......

I guess all film stars have to go to the big studio up above one day..........

Come to think of it, it was probably a mistake to re-build the aircraft after it crashed the first time.

I mean, all those rocks and the snow can't have done the underside much good could it?

No wonder it eventually failed. I'm just amazed it survived as long as it did..... Quality English engineering.... Weren't the frogs involved somewhere too? Supersonic toilet seat design I think..............
