The shape of the window rings a bell, but I just cant get a grip of it. Somehow I keep considering french manufacturers.

You are on the right track. French designer,
most built in France , some is USA.

ah, now I got it, its a pusher and was loosely related to a quiz on the Flying Machine thread recently. Hence I saw pics of this beast at that time. Funny how brain cells work, you know you've seen it but really can't figure out where, when and why.

Well OH if so, I am wrestling with the Plywood Gazelle and being very annoyed for not getting a slightest idea what it is...

Oh yeah, and this cockpit belongs to Grinvalds Orion.

The plywood Gazelle has been solved a week ago.
But we still have a complete blackout on this cockpit dashboard.

I will pitch up a new challenge:
