Yes, very crude-looking, but in this case, form definitely follows function.
I suspect meleagertoo has it. Why don’t you pull the yellow and black handle? 
What a fantastic boiler-plate solution to a swiss-watch problem! I find the dichotomy between the backyard pop-rivet engineering of the LLRV and the LM incredibly exciting and inspirational.
The panel, especially the doppler(?) display and the pure 1960s strip gauges was a dead giveaway!
