WWII Uniform

I work part time at a charity shop (Shelter), and we've jut been donated a WWII (Royal Navy 1944, Size 2 by the label in the back hem), men's sweater, in excellent condition.

The problem is what to do with it. It almost undoubtedly won't sell off the shelf and in a couple of weeks would go to be ragged; but looking online seems to have a far higher value. I'm reluctant to put it on Ebay because of the their charges.

Any suggestions?

I can post a photo tomorrow if requested.

ORAC,
Would have thought it should have a fate better than just being sold off to a surplus store - don't think I've seen many such items even in UK museums. Care to post a photo & PM me with your thoughts on the charitable donation required?
