USAAF Wartime Station/ Crash Info

Hello,
I am researching 2 wartime crashes near me and they both happened very near to a USAAF 9th AF Bomber station (Great Dunmow / Easton Lodge, Essex. Home to 386BG at the time in question- Feb 1944).
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to see station or control tower logs for USAAF stations or did they have reports for crashes/incidents on or very near to base?

Thanks.
