Nostalgia... DC3
Like many, I have a hankering for the old birds including aircraft. Just completed the first of a series of twelve DC3s. Hope to add Connies and maybe even a few three holers later on.

Onya Rob! Poor old Eenie Weenie never seems to get included in many DC-3 images.
I love Goonies because I have three thousand hours on the old girls, my old man flew them for more thousands of hours than I did and my wife and daughter have been 'hosties' in them.
If it wasn't for the morons in CASA who never really made it, but having been somehere on the peripheral of DC-3 operations at some time in the past so have been allocated the tag 'DC-3 type specialist' we'd be thrilled to hear the sounds of the 1830s mumbling through the air still.

I used to commute on East West so the line holds a special place. I've never been on a 3 but I just love the look of them... Connies too. Right now I've got a TAA DC3 nearing completion, a Qantas DC3 about 1/3 through and I'm just pencilling up an Air Nostalgia 3 before taking on the Melbourne Gooney Bird.
Cheers
Rob
