No, Northern Hemisphere.
If I had been here in 1976 or 1998 my knees would have been knocking both figuratively and literally. Probably also between 1915 and 1917 but not for quite the same reasons. Still very uncomfortable though!

Bovec Slovenia it is. Extensive fighting in the area between Italians and Austrian forces in 1915 to 1917, earthquakes in 1976 and 1998.

The airport is now the Congressional Plaza shopping area ... at least the name lives on.
Arthur Godfrey was a longtime radio personality in the Washington, DC, area (starting around 1930).
