Which Aerodrome Mk III
To be accurate it's the 'new' Tingwall airport which replaced the old grass strip in, I think, the '80s.
I flew into the old strip in Sep 1972 courtesy of Loganair; a patch of stinging nettles marked the northern end of the strip and there was a substantial stone barn just off centreline at the southern end but I don't know exactly where it was! There was a dry stone wall next to the barn which extended across the centreline; a visiting Aztec tried to demolish this while landing during my 'tour of duty' at Sumburgh.

For Sycamore, Lossie - Brawdy at high level tight and unlikely, not much Rebecca Eureka coverage left in 1981. Low level much more fun. Distant memory of Rebecca Eureka at Twenthe earlier that year on another jolly, but not convinced. On one trip I went Leuchars - Coningsby, doing a favour for the future Scottish Air Marshal.
