I recently found a heritage site which is excellent for photographs of extinct aerodromes.
All I have available are overhead photographs, so if you do not want one of those I'll throw it open. However if you all find that acceptable then I'm ready to post.

British and US flags flying - a meeting between the UK Prime Minister and a US President??? Possible a USSR flag as well - so we're maybe talking Yalta Feb 1945 - the coats would suggest a wintery day
That might be Churchill's personal C-54 or Roosevelt's C-54- the "Sacred Cow"

Great challenge nvubu and well done friartuck.
The follow up pictures of Churchill in an RAF uniform intrigued me, so I did some research.

A long way from E Europe.................. actually quite a long way from anywhere civilised (for a given value of civilisation)
the screen shot doesn't show that there is actually quite a bit of agriculture locally..............

ft,
Bearing in mind that there are different definitions of civilization, how about the Imperial Valley?
