ATP???
SE-???? hmmmm.......... = NEXJET SE-Mxx or WESTAIR = SE-Lxx so possibly Gothenburg or Malmo or Mariehamns
Doesn't look much like Gothenburg -Landvetter and not sure you could get that close to the hangars there outside the fence.
Marienhams is in Finland which it can't be according to Jensdad
Malmo is possible??

This is going to be embarrassing if I am wrong - because I worked there for 30 years. I do not really recognize it but, there is something that points me towards the hangar. Could it possibly be the “new” one at the south west corner of the Jersey aerodrome ? Apart from that, there is absolutely nothing that helps me identify it.

Sorry I missed that reply, LHRH. No, not any of the places you mention.
While this neck of the woods does also have its own dialect (of a language other than English), it's been predominantly English-speaking since the early 20th century or thereabouts.

kcockayne has been the closest so far.
Not England or Scotland, not Scandinavia, not the Caribbean, and not South Africa. Photo is basically looking directly at the setting sun on the September solstice, and (a new clue here...) is roughly parallel with the airfield's one runway. English is basically the local language, although there is a local dialect (although not a dialect of English) that was widely spoken until the early 1900s. And there's a Swedish registered ATP in the background. And one night in September 2017 there was a Super King Air parked photogenically next to the perimeter fence.

ea200 has it! Guernsey it is. When kcockayne said Jersey I really wanted to say he/she was right with the Channel Islands, but that would have been as good as saying it was Guernsey (Alderney never seeing anything as big as an ATP!).
I demand a recount!
(From what I heard it was still widely spoken until the '70s.)
Great challenge jensdad. I did some flying in Guernsey in the 80s. The airport was described as an aircraft carrier. Almost all of the circuit was over the sea. Spinning over the ocean was interesting.
Returning to the photo', I knew that there was something familiar about it - just got the islands mixed up.
