I was flying from Lossiemouth.
Exceptionally we used Inverness as a crash diversion so occasionally practiced it. The tower loved fast passes below them. Great piece of kit is a radalt which reads down to five feet !!

It housed No 14 and No 19 (P) AFU with Oxfords and was also a RLG for No 19 OTU at Forres (presumalbly the original name for Kinloss.)

Thanks. Several ancient snaps for OUAS at that hangar. Can I call OH? Other time zones may take a bite. I will contribute in the morning if necessary.
For Chevvron, Forres was an independent RAF station, and much later used by the United Biscuits King Air. Featured herein several years ago.
