Which Aerodrome Mk III
I have been looking at Gilbert islands and Gardner island as these gave been American long ago but claimed by U.K. somewhere 1888.
But no succes in matching airbases.

Leading with my chin here, but I don't recognize this as an Australian mainland airfield (although the vegetation could be). New Guinea?

Thanks. Only just taken up the cause; it was the Wildcat which swung it, many of the other fields operated F6. While at airport motel, noticed a couple of skydivers deep in a French magazine. On cover was a photo of an occurrence on a lift which I had flown earlier in the year.
