Which Aerodrome Mk III
The river does - but not Ukraine - we're in NATO here
The spots are just bushes - I checked the pics again some seem to have grown up since the place was abandoned - see pic of it in it's heyday (sic) - I think that was bowser on the south side of the runway......
By near the river I mean within about 30 kms

we are indeed - a rather rural spot TBH - nothing ever seems to have ever happened there..................

I was a contract pilot with BAe and at Warton some signs were in Arabic because of the number of middle east personnel who regularly visited.

The suggestion of BAe hangar is interesting.
BAe Systems is also based in Saudi and Oman.
But has several other contracts in the Middle-East as well.
The hangar looks brand new.
Did you check if it already shows on Google Maps/earth?
