First thought was some sort of American Bellanca...

But lets backtrack. Your last three challenges were...

Australian.
Chinese.
Romanian.

I wonder?

Going to break for lunch for 30 mins or so. Catch you later assuming you are still awake!

Enjoy lunch.

I'm heading off to watch Ice Station Zebra, and pay particular attention to the Tu-95s(?) From memory they were the worst looking models made for a Hollywood movie. And were they MiGs or Sukhois rushing towards Zebra? ( I read Ernest Borgnine died recently.) Cheers.

Hope you're enjoying (or have enjoyed) the film
And were they MiGs or Sukhois rushing towards Zebra?
If my memory serves me right they actually used F-4's! Accuracy in all things aviation was never a strong point in the movies

Evening Ken.

I'll have a wild shot at Romanian - several features look familiar, especially that radial.

actually used F-4's!
I had forgotten that! Yes. But there were some delta jet models - still can't determine what they were meant to be.

Looking at Romanians now (or is it Rumanians?)...the Turing?

Morning Graeme

Delta jets...can't remember those but it was 20 years or so ago when I last watched it. Probably F-102/106's?

That's the one, the ICAR Turing - thought that would go quickly once you worked out my devious plan! There again nobody else around today until David looked in later on.

Noyade has control, and I'll be saying good night

Apologies Ken, must be open house.

Probably F-102/106's?
No mate, the Ruskies were powering towards Zebra and they had models of delta jets with Russian insignias. When they arrived they cut to real footage, of F-4 Phantoms.

Still, not as bad as a documentary DVD I recently watched, titled "The Fight for the Sky - The Battle of Britain", featuring "rare archive footage", which included the usual Spitfire/Hurricane/Messerschmitt/Heinkel characters, but then P-47s, Fw-190s, B-17s and even Zeros and Corsairs were fighting over the English Channel.

Lonely days mate?

From memory, you said it wasn't a Culver product. But I can't remember if you replied to my other questions, if it was American or a Drone of sorts?

The nose still looks odd.

G'day mate.

American.

Not exactly a drone, but you're on the right lines. Think weapon.
