Evening DA, you're correct; it is the Heston T 1/37 Trainer
diesel addict has requested an Open House
The aircraft was built in 1938, against the Ministry of Aviation Specification TI/37 for a two-seat light training aircraft.
The first prototype (L7706) flew and comprehensive tests were carried out at the A & AEE Boscombe Down, but the RAF could manage with the existing fleet of training aircraft, so the second (L7709) prototype was never completed, and the third (L8804) was dismantled at the initial stage of construction.

I like it...an Amercan aircraft that's NOT in Aerofiles.
It's the ADI Condor I believe?
Couldn't make out the reg, but Condor on the side made life a little easier
Edit, hadn't noticed your comment re AQ....definitely, save that it was never built!! It was an engineering mock-up.

Morning Ken. How's the day shaping?
Actually mate, my next clue, was to be aimed at Trevor as he seems to be the best(?) at those Aerofiles code things...
Which would probably have led him to Hollmann..
But ADI googles the same photo...so your control mate. Well done.

2pCmwM
Hollman
Winther-Hollman Aircraft Inc, Cupertino CA. Condor 1982 = 2pCmwM; 65hp VW or 115hp Avco-Lycoming.

Ah, so it was in Aerofiles - when I saw Condor on the side I realised it was probably the ADI Condor - then went to look at Aerofiles only to find it wasn't there! Then looked at ADI's website, and bingo
Standby for the next one.

No shirtless guys there - hat's, fairly typical for era/time of year.
Yes
No, late 1980's design. Picture taken in the 90's.
Yes, but just the one made as far as I can see.
American summer?
Late seventies?
Homebuilt/Kitplane?
missed off a strut!
Looking through Kitplanes Directories, but they only added a photo for each entry in 1993.
Your personal photo?
Aerofiles?
Tricycle biplane?
