Issa looking Rastus

The undercarriage looks so flimsy, just like an elastic band powered model.

I wish I had loads of disposable income.

I would gladly give some to Mr Beachyhead and Thunder City for a ride on the Lightning, Hunter, Strikemaster and Buccaneer.

Pity the Gloster Javelin is up on a pole.

Evening LM,

Great to see an active new member skwinty

My first look-in for a couple of day; it's been really hectic here, moving the assembly department into the new building, just finishing off now and going home soon.

That U/C looks a lot like a Wittman Tailwind or one of the numerous copies built, anything in pursuing that line?

Edit:

Abend Reg

Sadly, unless you have some local knowledge to the contrary, I thought that they had all been more or less permanently grounded, due to the cost of insurance .

Kitfox was also mentioned in the connection of the Wittman Buttercup at the time….

Edit: Me Missus abruptly ceased watching a re-run of Star Trek, which ends my clear and present danger of acute starvation. Will be back after dinner .

Good shot Reg !

Thanks for the compliment HP; I'm somewhat relieved that I proved you wrong this time as my sleeve is empty (didn't think my answer would have been accurate enough though) and the Tailwind has been on before, although that doesn't seem to be too much of a probem recently !

Off home now, will try and get back later, but at least there's more light on than has been the case lately !!!

P.S. Sombody go and put up a cockpit while you're waiting, it looks like Bri's last comment there was true !

SincoTC,

The problem is easily solved with money.

As far as I know the aircraft are still airworthy.

Thanks for the welcome.

PS: how many posts does one need before getting full functionality on this forum?

I can't seem to find the quote function button anywhere.

It's the third button on the left on row two...

wrap quotes around text.

Highlight the text first - then copy and paste and do the above.
