radius of turn about 80 nautical miles.
Hmmm....won't be able to "corkscrew" when the night-fighters arrive then?

Project. British Point-Defence Interceptor (I think you guys were into that early post-war). Piloted. Rocket to reach speed, then jets take over.

How'd I go?

I think it's the Messerschmitt Me X1-21 Tailsitter ??

First chance of a look in since Monday (internet down at home and up to my eyes in it at work ), off into a meeting in a couple of minutes and not sure when I can get back, so Open House please if correct! All lights are off at the moment anyway

It is indeed a PA-25-235 Pawnee. In this instance taken from the Observers Basic Aircraft Civil, 1967.
