1 out of 3 Try American, 1980's, less than 5 built.
Was intended to be a kitplane available for homebuild but never progressed. The manufacturer is probably not one that you would associate with kitplanes, and is perhaps best known for its association with a production light aircraft.

Morrisey Bravo OM-1...?
That the one Graeme
Interesting article in Flight regarding their plans for it, which unfortunately never came to fruition: model | flight morrisey | private flight | 1985 | 0170 | Flight Archive
The better known production aircraft was of course the Varga Kachina.

Noyade has control

I'll see if anyone else responds first.

Nice machine and nice photo The setting, if not the aircraft, reminded me of the film By Dawns Early Light.

G'day Martin. Someone will have to answer to move on...

By Dawns Early Light.
Just googled. Looks interesting, have to keep an eye out for that one.

I gather some were visually sighted off the coast of Ireland last year - heading towards South America if I recall.
