Shackleton and Beverley help wanted
Hello Nostalgic Ppruners, I'm trying to put together a Power-Point presentation of Aircraft and Events that might be interesting to some of my colleagues.
I've got quite a few photos but need some good visuals of a Beverley heavy-drop (preferably Landrover and anti-tank gun ).
I also need some Shackleton photos of loaded bomb-bays, (both maritime and 1000lb type hardware), MR 2 Shacks in trooping role (troops on board or waiting around to embark) and a strange one - a photo of the standard sea-survival solar still.
Also some "atmospheric" ones of Kinloss, St Mawgan, Changi, Khormaksar, Labuan and Luqa would be nice.
I'd be most grateful if anyone's got appropriate photos tucked away and doesn't mind me using them............not for profit or commercial use, I hasten to add !
(I so regret I didn't spend more money and time on camera film and less on beer - but beer was much cheaper in those days !!!)
