Spitfire damaged

2-seat Spitfire TR9 reportedly only 1 of 5 in the World, damaged on landing at Ardmore, New Zealand, today.

Sad.

Almost anything is repairable as long as you have the original data plate.

For example, this was repairable and the aircraft is flying again.

Oops, if I recall correctly this airframe was just back in the air after a repair following a landing incident. Yep, just checked, second landing incident within one year.
